Dr. Seema Arif

I, am PhD in education, fellow of CEFTR, Collaboration for Teacher Excellence & Research, a program of George Mason University, USA, and alumnus of Teaching at Higher Education Certificate Course from Derek-Bok School of Education, Harvard University, USA.I have served  on various management positions in leading private universities of Pakistan, and academic boards of several universities, including Lahore College University for Women, University of Health Sciences Lahore and Sargodha University. I have supervised numerous Masters and six PhD theses. I have widely published in local and international journals and magazines.

Diversity is the order of the universe; I multitask and use diverse skills in teaching and research. I have been a quick learner, getting top academic positions, seeking innovation. My focus is identifying student needs and their satisfaction. My motto is: Keep learning and keep growing.

I had a very exciting student life that was socially and mentally enriching. In my earlier phase, I was among the youngest students; in the last phase of my MPhil and PhD, I was among the eldest. Whatever the age, I have always seen my student role as the best, enthusiastic, challenging, and curious. Belonging to a highly educated family, I was more well-read and equipped in teaching and learning techniques. In fact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that I was raised by teachers, my aunts, who were in their earlier teaching careers. They loved to apply whatever they learned, and I was their favorite subject. They gave me a lot of love, appreciation, and motivation, which I still carry as my best asset. I was not shy at 38 to resume the second phase of my educational career, and I am not scared at 60 to enter another spiral. I believe successful teaching depends upon lifelong learning.

I am a hardcore family person, happily married mother of 4 children and 6 grandchildren. I greet all visitors to my website. I hope you will enjoy your visit and return here often.
